I'm aimed to set up a ubuntu server on my relatively old laptop ... among the services that I want to set up on it - I want to set up a miraclecast sink service.

It is feasible to get it done on a desktop version of ubuntu, but i'm not sure if there is a video player app or any other kind of utility that can be use to send an output of video file to my TV via HDMI. This is my question.

Thanks for Your replies either it is possible or no.
