Chart performance
Despite the positive reviews the song received, "Stuttering (Don't Say)" failed to make any significant impact on the airplay charts in the US, only appearing at #33 on the Mainstream Top 40 chart. This was the group's only single to fail to make both on the Hot 100 and the Bubbling Under Hot 100. Although it underperformed in the US, it did become a top ten hit in Japan, New Zealand, the Netherlands and Australia.[1]
Music video
Wild Orchid filmed a music video to promote the single, but due to its poor success on US radio, it never had a commercial release.
