I am following this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Ea-VYm3V7M

I was able to create 2 partitions on a virtual hard drive of 160 GB. I still have plenty of space left. But, when I arrow down to the "VBOX_HARDISK ... " line and then arrow right, when I try to select "Add Partition" the highlighted line/cursor jumps to the top of the screen (the "/" root mount point).

enter image description here

Something seems to be glitchy with the GUI during install. I was able to create 2 partitions eventually, but the "submenu" window won't stay open to create any more.

Usually I can find something on Google, but I've not found any mention of this particular issue.

I'm just wondering what is the most likely causing this "jumping cursor" issue and if anyone knows how to fix it?
