If you have access to bootable flash drive which has Ubuntu in it, you'd be good to go. If you don't, you'll have to create bootable flash drive or CD to create a Ubuntu installation medium, supposing you can't boot to Windows (at all), you need to lend friend's computer

If you have access to bootable flash drive which has Ubuntu in it, you'd be good to go. If you don't, you'll have to create bootable flash drive or CD to create a Ubuntu installation medium, supposing you can't boot to Windows (at all), you need to lend friend's computer
