So I´ve got this problem, if I open ubuntu with shell, sudo startunity. My ubuntu open just fine, but I can't open anything in ubuntu or run any commands. For example, I can't open firefox because I can't even see the side line where all my programs are stored.

I just followed a tutorial how to run ubuntu on chromebook, which said to use sudo.
