So i tried to install the updates, but i got an error message saying that: Failed to download repository information Check your Internet connection. (it is ok). 
When i tried to do it in command line i got this:
valo@Castor:~$ sudo apt-get update
[sudo] password for valo:

Ign:2 http://ppa.launchpad.net/tualatrix/ppa/ubuntu cosmic InRelease

404 Not Found [IP: 91.189.95.83 80]
Reading package lists... Done
E: The repository 'http://ppa.launchpad.net/tualatrix/ppa/ubuntu cosmic Release' does not have a Release file.
N: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore disabled by default.
N: See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details.

Did you check the PPA supported cosmic? For security reasons alone checking what a PPA (a 3rd party software source, un-vetted by anyone but it's author) is good practice. That PPA was last touched in 2014! so support ended at trusty (14.04). Checking your 3rd party sources before adding is good security practice, let alone avoiding these errors. (ppa.launchpad.net/tualatrix/ppa/ubuntu/dists or what I saw when I opened the error message url in browser; before adding I look at PPA info page & who author is etc not here)
