I recently got a 24inch HP VH240a monitor. I have a Razer blade stealth with a window ubuntu dual boot. On windows, this monitor works well. On Ubuntu, on the other hand, I have issues. The main issue is that the screen is flickering black for a few seconds every few seconds. This is not related to the HDMI cable since it works well on windows. I have lowered the refresh rate from 60 to 59.6. Second, when you look at the screen you can see little white pixels jumping around randomly which could be connected to the flickering, this does not seem to be a problem when there is no activity on the second monitor.
Any help is appreciated, by the way, I have Intel HD Graphics(built in).
