I've been trying to burn a playlist from Rhythmbox, which uses Brasero automatically as the burning program. When I click "Create Audio CD" from Rhythmbox, everything in my playlist pops up, ready to be burned. Then when I click "burn", it takes me to another window with ALL my home files. Above all these files, is a box titled "Name: brasero.2-cue".

It doesn't seem to be directed at my playlist name, or it's contents, when I'm asked to create the image. Nonetheless, I can press "Create Image", and successfully burn a CD. However, neither my DVD player or CD player can recognise the the new CD afterwards. They both say "Unknown". The name of my playlist appears from the CD, in nautilus on my PC. However, when I click it, my playlist appears again, ready to be burned by Brasero once more.

Since nautilus redirected me to the "cue" for Brasero to burn the playlist, is Brasero just burning the CUE, and not the actual contents of the playlist? Shouldn't nautilus actually take me to Rhythmbox to PLAY the playlist, or at least show the contents on the CD, if it has successfully burned them? I only get the name of the playlist, and the cue back to Brasero to burn.

Yet I can still play the playlist successfully, from Rhythmbox. I've read numerous bug reports, about Brasero not burning CD's. Whereas, my problem appears after it successfully burns - just not with the contents present, it seems. Only the cue for Brasero to burn the playlist.

Has anyone else encountered this problem, and know of a fix? I've already tried the "Save File" feature in Rhythmbox to save my playlist - with the intention to burn in K3b and Xburn, instead of Brasero. However, they cannot seem to open the saved file, made from Rhythmbox.
