I have a Dell D630 and have loaded Unbuntu 17.04. Previously I was able to remove the STA driver for the Broadcom BM4311 and replaced it using
apt-get install --reinstall b43-fwcutter
apt-get install --reinstall bw43-fwcutter firmware-b43-installer
about a year and a half ago, but I'm doing it again on a new drive because the previous one failed. I can remove the STA driver but can't reinstall the b43-fwcutter and firmware--I type the command and it says it can't be found. Any help anyone can give me?
