So I've been using Optimum hotspot for a while, and all of sudden, it started losing internet connection (it says Wifi is connected, but no internet), and now somehow it is fully gone. I have another laptop, and the hotspot is working just fine.

Also, I can still connect my Mac to my personal hotspot (on my phone), so it seems like my MacBook is not able to connect to Optimum hotspot.

I tried to reboot, clear proxy server and things.. but nothing seems working.
I've been watching movies and shows online, and it always had crazy popups and kept downloading things, but I always just closed and deleted whatever was downloaded. Could these be the problems?

Please help!
