I'm brand new to Linux and currently on day 3... It is likely that the below question already has a well known answer; however, I've not been able to either find a solution or understand the answer....

I am having difficulties with Lightdm. As I am new, I try to stricly following guides; however, when I install Manjaro everything appears to be corect. Just as I finish downloading my base software and updating drives I then take a snapshot using Timeshift and restart the laptop. Each time I restart I receive an error messsge regarding Lightdm and then the screen either goes black or into a terminal window with some regarding Grub... There are many responses to this issue; however, each of then seems to have a different answer. Just now I have configure the laptop and am so pleased with the performance and how well the graphics settings appear. Im taking a snopshot now, but I am very afriad to restart as I have literally had to fully reinstall everything around 5 times now (again, I'm new so I'm likely missing the obvious. I believe that I just install NVDIA dirvers correctly which is why the GUI looks so amazing right now, or perhaps I succesfully removed these? This curernt install is wondreful, I'm just scared to reboot now ;)
