This is a list of US states with split senate delegations.
As of January 2019[update], there are nine U.S. states with split senate delegations, meaning that their two senators are members of different parties.[1]Vermont's senate delegation is constituted of Democrat Patrick Leahy and Independent Bernie Sanders, but the latter caucuses with the Democrats.
