Iran Gas Fields Location Map


Ferdowsi Gas Field is one of the NIOC Recent Discoveries which is located at approximately 190 kilometers southeast of Bushehr, 85 kilometers offshore the Persian Gulf.


The volume of the gas in place and recoverable gas in this field is estimated at 13 and 9 TCF, respectively .


On December 26, 2007 the Contract for Development of the field was signed between NIOC and SKS of Malaysia, with presence of the Petroleum of Iran.[1]
