Ubuntu desktop crashes after login
Can not login to Ubuntu 13.10 after rebootBlack screen and login loop after updates Ubuntu 14.04 LTSUbuntu 15.04 Login loopUbuntu 14.04 login crash/black screen after latest updateThe login loop after changing nvidia driverStuck in Login-loop after installing drivers for GTX 1060Login loop with Xorg on Ubuntu 17.10, but Wayland worksXubuntu 18.04 login-loop, how to revert back/change to auto-login?Double-login on 18.04?How do I repair Ubuntu 18.04 after login loop issue?
Yesterday I made the update to 18.04. LTS. First I had problems with a login loop because ecrypt was missing. After reinstallation everything worked fine so far.
Now I made some changes on apt.conf because of the proxies and changed the position of the application bar.
After a reboot I'm stucking in a login loop again. This time the desktop icons appear for a short time. Then the login screens shows again.
When I switch to another terminal with CTRL-ALT-F3 I can login and startx
works.
Someone has a idea how to fix this error? After startx
