Ubuntu 18.04.1 - wrong battery status when boot in battery
Why is my battery indicator wrong on Samsung Series 9?Laptop battery always dischargingPlugged in, battery not charging, not running downSamsung laptop running Ubuntu 15.04 shuts down at 30% battery without warningUbuntu 14.04 Battery Icon has fixed value after booting till the next reboot [UPDATED]Get battery status to update more often or on AC power/wakeBattery only charging when shutting down by holding the power button or in suspended modeBattery At 0% But Only When ChargingThe battery status light on my System76 laptop does not display low battery on 17.10Brightness only goes to maximum when having booted with the power cable plugged in (Ubuntu 16.04; Samsung NP470R5E)
Since I upgraded ubuntu from 16.04 to 18.04.1 found that when booting in battery, when I plug in the ac adapter, does not detect that is charging altough displays the correct percentage, starts raising when plugged, and laptop leds indicate correctly.
Does anybody had the same issue?

Same problem here, with a Toshiba Satellite C50-B. Also "upower -monitor" detects AC adapter plug/unplug.
Interesting, some battery queries refer either 'battery 0' or 'battery 1' - there is only one battery?!? One tool says that the battery has 65535 mAh capacity - now, there is an interesting number... acpi reports that the AC adapter is online, regardless of actual state....
