Mary Berrisford (1912–)[1] was a British writer of children's pony stories[2][3] which are very similar to those of the Pullein-Thompson sisters, as well as other animal story and books on gardening.[4] She was born in Staffordshire in 1912.[5] She also wrote under the name Amanda Hope.[citation needed]


She married Clifford Lewis with whom she wrote under the pseudonym Judith M. Berrisford.[6]
