Disclaimer: I'm pretty new to Ubuntu. I use Linux frequently but not as my daily driver, until now. Thus, I am unaware of what information would be needed to diagnose the issue.

Sometimes:

When waking my Dell Inspiron 7559 from suspend (opening the lid), the screen before the login input "sticks" to the cursor, and clicking again (either button) does not resolve the issue. If I move the cursor, it just moves the screen up and down. I can still use type my password and press Enter to log in.

After logging in, it gets worse. Most of the time I am able to move the cursor, and not click. It's as if Primary were being held down.

Infrequently:

The touchpad stops working outright. Across the board.
