have dual bot on my computer. (Windows and Ubuntu). Because of personal interests, I want to use Unity3d on Ubuntu. (That is possible using unity hub for Linux). Unity hub is working, but when I try to download unity, unity hub says, I have only 2 GB left, no matter what I do.

My partitions are as shown in the picture. I use /dev/sda1 for files that need to be accessible from both OS. sda2 and sda3 are for Ubuntu. I tried to set the download location in unity hub anywhere in /home (or in /dev/sda4), but unity hub always says, I have just 2 GB of free space, and cancels the download.

But as it can be seen on the picture, I have 362 GB of free space. So does Unity hub always count like it would be on /dev/sda2? Did I ruin something when installing Ubuntu on my machine?

Why is this happening, and is there any way I can fix that?

You have over 300GB of free space in /home (sda4), which is reserved for your data. The system is not allowed to install software there. You have 2.77 GB available in / (sda2) for kernels, and new software, system settings, and everything else. Looks like you made the / partition too small, a common mistake many new-to-Ubuntu power-users make. Simply back up all your data, then use a LiveUSB to resize the partitions.
