The first login screen after boot works, but when a lock screen should appear after suspend or Ctrl+Alt+L the screen just turns black and I can't do anything (managed to start command line with Ctrl+Alt+F1 but that's it)

beginner here, I have the same issue. However, I tried just entering the password (to login) and everything comes back normally.
