So I just finished setting up a machine an now want to create a backup.

Installed gnome-disk-utility, launched it, selected the disk and then Create Disk Image...

but that only gets me an error message:

gnome-disk-utility error locking /dev/dm-0: failed to deactivate the device: device or resource busy (udisks-error-quark,0)

(running a Kubuntu (18.10) single-boot and LUKS+LVM-encrypted).

I guess I could try creating an image from a live usb disk, but that's cumbersome if I want to create regular backups. Any way around that?
