I am trying to install Ubuntu 16.04 onto a Aaeon Up Board using a USB flashdrive that has the disc image on it. When I turn on the board, everything is fine I can install Ubuntu with no problem from the flashdrive. Once the process is complete, it prompts me to restart the board to complete install. If I do that (leaving the USB in), the board restarts and it shows the menu to install Ubuntu, try without installing, etc. According to the tutorial I was following (https://tutorials.ubuntu.com/tutorial/tutorial-install-ubuntu-desktop-1604#11) there should be a prompt to remove the flash drive before restarting but this never occurs for me.

I have tried, once install is complete, to turn the board off, remove the flashdrive, and start the board up, but this does not work at all either. If I reinstall, it tells me that "Ubuntu 16.04" is installed.

What should I do?

Thanks, please let me know if more info is needed. I have looked around and can't find someone who has had a similar issue. If a similar question has been asked somewhere, I apologize, and could you please point me in the right direction?
