Can't configure 5.1 audio with 12.04HDMI Audio not working on fresh Dell installXubuntu 15.04, no sound through HDMIPulseaudio does not detect analog speakers, only HDMI output possibleSound will not default to s/pdif (DVI-to-HDMI) without unplugging headphone jackHow can I get HDMI sound to work in 16.04?How to get Flash to play through HDMIXubuntu doesn't recognize when hdmi receiver is plugged in (but normal hdmi screen works!)ubuntu 17.10 pulseaudio with bluetooth a2dp does not offer playback stream for firefoxProblem sharing sound with Pulseaudio

I recently installed Ubuntu Studio 18.10. It sounds like JACK is a good choice, if it actually gets working, but it's not producing sound out of the TV I have connected via my graphics card HDMI. Works fine with PulseAudio alone. Trying to run through PulseAudio, then through JACK. Do I need the right settings? When playing a video on Youtube, PulseAudio shows that Firefox has sound, but I'm not hearing anything.
