Canon Horace Baugh (1916–2007, age 91) was a Quebec, Canada Anglican priest who was famous for an annual blessing of the pets atop Mount Royal in Montreal. Canon Baugh conducted his blessings each year for 56 years, continuing after he went blind, until his death at 91 years. He once estimated that he blessed over 60 000 pets over the years, including dogs, cats, horses, and snakes. Canon Baugh was instrumental in founding the skier's chapel, St. Francis of the Birds in St. Sauveur des Monts in the Laurentian hills.

Canon Baugh was also instrumental in preserving the small country church in Crystal Falls, Quebec. He gave the annual service there for many years. Www.crystalfalls.ca
