I don't get this behavioural bit with stack exchange and askunbtu. You look for an answer to a specific problem, and there are multiple responses that say "This question has been asked before", but no links to previous answers like we're stupid for asking it.

Instead of snubbing our problem solving requests, why not provide the PREVIOUS ANSWERS that you say already exist and save us searchers time in finding it. If you know everything and have the keys to the kingdom of knowledge, then why not let us peons know where the real answers exist? Heck I can't even follow up with a simple comment on previous answers unless I've got some huge some huge reliability number.

I'm sure this will be ignored and probably deleted by the first responders at askubuntu. You people are stifling innovation with people looking for solutions to simple problems. We are trying to work too. If our questions are stupid, then prove us wrong with an appropriate response, that has an actual solution, instead of hiding behind invisible curtains.
