I have downloaded a few things on Lubuntu 16.04, and one of them even had the same name as another file in the folder - I had to rename it. So, when I go into my "file manager PCManFM" folder from the task bar, I expect to find the downloads in that downloads folder, but it's empty. So I tried typing it into the terminal "ls -a ~/Downloads", but all that says is "." and "..".

I also checked Firefox for where it's sending the downloads, and it says "Downloads."

Thanks,
Nate.
