This is the model I have:

https://www.gigabyte.com/Mini-PcBarebone/GB-BLCE-4105-rev-10#ov

I'm trying to boot off of a USB to install Ubuntu but I don't see an option in the BIOS for it. I disabled Secure Boot as googling suggests that would work but the option is still not enabled.

I have a few pictures of the BIOS. The first pic says Secure Boot is activated when SC is enabled, the Platform Key is enrolled, System mode is User/Deployed and CSM is disabled.

I'm not sure about the key being enrolled part. When I go to that screen, it doesn't give me an option to un-enroll (there is a delete option but I don't know if that would break anything).

CSM support is greyed out and set to UEFI. Boot options are UEFI and disabled.

  • Have you tried to enable Boot Option #1 ? Or what ever possibilities you have in the drop-down menu to the right, that's right now saying "Disabled" ?

  • It only gives two options, UEFI Shell and Disabled, unfortunately.

  • And setting it to UEFI shell gives what ?

    – Soren A

  • It sets to that option but then only boots to a UEFI Shell. There are no options to change boot order or boot off of a USB,

  • How have you burned that USB? By any chance have you used Rufus? It's default settings result in a USB that boot in BIOS only, not UEFI. And since you have UEFI only (correct, recommended) it won't recognize and list the USB as a valid boot device.
